Power System Harmonics

Overview

This program is designed to familiarize engineers in the utility and industrial sectors with the fundamentals of harmonic distortion. The causes, systems parameters, operating conditions and equipment related to harmonic distortion are examined. Emphasis is then shifted to problem analysis and measurement, mitigation techniques and industry standards. The knowledge gained is then applied in some actual case studies.
