Q7: What is the difference in EO / EOP Hours and which counts toward NERC credentialing?

There are 32 EOP hours required per year, which is the company's responsibility and can be covered in any way they choose. EOP is NOT a part of the NERC credentialing package, but it is required of companies by NERC. Companies may use L&K courses or do their own internal drills to meet this requirement.

L&K only reports hours in these 3 categories - Simulation / Standards / Operating Topics (which encompasses EOP if the client is using L&K courses to meet this requirement), and NOT in the EO category. EO is synonymous with any course that may be taken 2 times in a given 12 month period. Most courses may only be taken 1 time in a 12 month period. EO is not a separate reporting category for NERC credentialing.
