Jack has over 46 years experience in the electrical industry. He began his career as an electrician and went on to obtain a degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1979. Jack obtained his Professional Engineer certification in 1985.

Jack was most recently with the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) where he served as the Principal Power System Analyst (Generation). Additionally, Jack has extensive experience as a Transmission Engineer where he held responsibilities for Transmission Operations and Transmission Flow Modeling.
